  Notes	Never married. Died as Mary H. Ellingboe at Luther Hall, 2636 Park Avenue, Minneapolis. The informant for her death certificate was Mrs. Helen Hanson, 255 11th Avenue, Granite Falls (perhaps #17378). Mary had been a school teacher. Mary died of heart failure brought about by pneumonia. Living at home with her mother and siblings in the 1910 census and the 1920 census. She is a school teacher. In the 1940 census, she was the head-of-household and living in Maynard in the same house that she had lived in in 1935. Also in the household were her brother Thomas and his wife and daughter. Mary had had one year of high school. In the 1950 census, she may be the 66 year-old Mary Ellingboe, an unmarried woman living at 1400 5th Avenue S. in Minneapolis. The census taker notes that she was unable to contact Mary Ellingboe directly (a common problem in the 1950 census) and that the information shown for Mary was obtained from Mary’s landlord or the landlord’s agent.
