  Notes	Listed as a machinery agent in his marriage record. According to the Vernon County 150 years book, Martin was a Studebaker dealer in Viroqua. According to his obit, Martin was also 2nd ward alderman for many years and served a term as the Vernon County sheriff. A brief obit in the La Crosse newspaper called him “for 40 years until his retirement in 1947 a machine and implement dealer of Viroqua.” Registered for the draft as Martin O Larson on September 12, 1918, although he signed his name as Martin O Larsen. He listed his address as 122 Maple, Viroqua. He listed his age as 40, having been born on September 27, 1877. His occupation is auto mechanic and he is self-employed. He lists his nearest relative as Louise Larson. He is described as tall and of medium build with blue eyes and brown hair. In his World War II draft registration, he and Louise were still living at 122 East Maple. He did not list an employed but did list an employer’s address, 112 North Rock Ave, Viroqua.
