  Notes	Maja-Stina. At the time of the 1900 census, she had borne 8 children, only 5 still living. She came to the U.S. in 1861 and was not a citizen at the time of the 1900 census. The 8 born, 5 living numbers are repeated in the 1910 census. The informant for her death certificate was her husband Fred. She died from abdominal cancer. A note on her death certificate said that an exploratory incision had been made 10 weeks before her death but “everything was a solid mass.”
