  Notes	Halvor was illegitimate. His parents were Tideman Halvorsen of Øvre Lie, and Malene Andersatter of Lieeie. In the 1865 Norwegian census he was Halvord Tidemandsen living on Sveen in Sør-Aurdal. In the 1875 Minnesota census, the family is in Lisbon Twp, Yellow Medicine County. The household consists of Halvor T Lee, 51, Ingeborg Julsen, 48, Juel Halvorsen, 21, Martin H Lee, 19, Berthe, 17, Anders, 12, Ole, 9, and Elling, 3. “Halver T.” in the 1880 census at which time the family was living in the town of Lisbon, Yellow Medicine County, Minnesota. Andrew, Ole, and Elling were still living at home. Son “Timan” lived next door. According to jwiborg, Halvor, as 46 year-old Halvor Tidemandsen Øverli, and his family emigrated from Oslo, destination Rochester, on May 13, 1870. Accompanying him was his wife Ingeborg, 43, Jul, 17, Martin, 11, and Marit, 9, Berthe, 8, Anders, 6, Ole, 3, and Even, 11 months. The family arrived in Quebec on May 30th aboard the ship Nova Scotia.
