  Notes	In the 1910 census, she and her husband were newly married and living with her husband’s parents in Thief River Falls. Her entry in Find A Grave: Mrs. Elsie Jerome, 71, long time resident of the Kelliher area, died at the Bemidji Hospital Sunday where she had been a patient since May. Born in Superior, Wis., Sept. 13, 1892, Mrs. Jerome lived at Thief River Falls before moving to Kelliher and in later years she lived with her daughters. Surviving are three daughters, Mrs. J. W. Harris (Peggy) of Long Beach, Calif., Mrs. Andrew Haugen (Lavurne) of Bemidji and Mrs. Victor I. Hanson (Lee) of Hazelcrest, Ill.; three grandchildren, Mrs. Jim Heibel and Terrance Michael Haugen of Bemidji and James Harrie of Long Beach; two great grandchildren; a brother, Joseph Jerome of Anaheim, Calif. and a sister, Mary Jerome of Minneapolis. Funeral services were held at the Grace Presbyterian Church in Kelliher Wednesday at 2 p.m. with burial in the Fairview Cemetery at Kelliher, under the direction of the Kolden-Snustad Funeral Home. Organist was Mrs. Walter Ungerecht and singers were Mrs. Nita Dietrich and Mrs. Marlene Stomberg. The pallbearers were Raymer Hoyum, Clarence Rust, Duane Rust Rudolph Locken, Eddie Eggen, and Elroy Thayer. She is not mentioned in George’s obit as surviving him so apparently she and he were divorced. In the 1940 census, she is shown as Elsie Jerome, 48 and divorced, living with her parents in Battle Twp in Beltrami County. She is a pastry cook.
