  Notes	Her entry in Find A Grave: Guri (Julia) Olsdatter Bjorn Grov Maafaa Guri (Julia) Olsdatter (sometimes found with one or more surnames: Bjorn, Grov or Maafaa) was born December 31, 1836 at the Kongsbakke farm at Oppland, Norway to Ole Olsen Kongsbakke and Guri Hansdatter. She had a sister, Maria Olsdatter Maafaa (born 1840 at Kongsbakke, Oppland, Norway) who also emigrated to America and lived at Cedar, Mitchell, Iowa by 1873. (Her sister, Maria Olsdatter Maafaa, married Knud Olson, born 1830 Norway and they had five children). Guri married Ole Oleson Christiansmoen (Moe) on February 19, 1859 at Oppland, Norway. The couple and three children, George, Gulbrand and Gunhild, emigrated to the Dane, Wisconsin area in 1865 and moved west to Cedar, Mitchell County, Iowa in 1866. Their fourth child, Martin, was born in the Thidemand (Docken) Thidemandsen cabin while the family was staying with the Docken's before they had bought land. Guri and Ole had four more children after settling at Cedar Township, Mitchell County, Iowa.
