  Notes	Milfred E. Severson, age 78 of Monroe, formerly of Argyle, passed away unexpectedly at his home in Monroe on Wednesday, July 8, 2015. He was born on March 3, 1937 in York Township, Green County, the son of Marvin and Edna (Winden) Severson. Milfred was united in marriage to Judith A. Berget on April 11, 1964 at Adams Lutheran Church. He farmed for a number of years in both Lafayette and Green counties. Milfred farmed in his early years and also was a cheesemaker until his retirement. He was a member of the Argyle American Legion Post # 251. Milfred is survived by his wife, Judith of Monroe; his children: Ernie (Tracy Stocks) Hess of Darlington; Connie (Jerry) Gutzmer of Argyle and Bill Severson of Monroe; six grandchildren, two great-grandchildren; one brother: LaVerne (Donna) Severson of Monroe and one sister, Dianna Severson of Monroe. He was preceded in death by his parents; one grandson, Nathan Hess; one brother, Virgil Severson; three sisters, Mary Lou Udelhoven, Janice Blum and Carol John.
