Age 51, passed away peacefully with full family at her side on Monday, October 3, 2011, at the Ann Arbor Hospice Residence. She was born April 4, 1960 in Flint, MI, one of three children born to Erwin and Donah (Lewis) Kval and was the wife of Michael Drumm for 27 years.
Karen graduated from Grand Blanc High School, Mott Community College, and Eastern Michigan University. She is survived by her husband, three sons, Collin, Patrick, and Evan, her parents, a sister, Patricia (Kevin) Bainbridge, a brother, Timothy (Tanya) Kval, aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents.
Karen loved math and was a math adjunct instructor at Mott Community College, library assistant at Saline Public Library, and currently office project administrator for TetraTech/GEO, Ann Arbor. She was an avid bowler and participated in the Women's State Tournament for many years with the "Chicks".
Burial will be at the Oakwood Cemetery in Saline.
