  Notes	Called Mary in one source. The Julia Koenig who died in October of 1975 was born 24 May 1881 according to 1975-MN-025722. From the Rochester Post Bulletin, via Find A Grave: Mrs. Fred Koenig, 94, of Maple Manor Nursing Home, died this morning in Rochester Methodist Hospital after an illness of four months with a heart condition. She was the former Julia Giere, born May 24, 1881, in Sargeant. She married Mr. Koenig in April 1909, in Rochester and the couple lived here. He was an engineer at Rochester Public Utilities until retiring. He died in 1968. She was a member of the Rochester Rebekahs. Survivors include a son, Lloyd of Rochester; two grandchildren; one great-grandchild and a brother, Martin of Menominee, Wis. Three brothers and a sister preceded her in death. The funeral is 2 p.m. Friday in Zumbro Lutheran Church where she was a member. The Rev. John Trelstad will officiate. Burial is in Oakwood Cemetery.
