  Notes	From the Rice County Journal, Aug. 9, 1911: After a long illness Miss Carrie Hoverstad died Sunday at the home of her mother in the town of Warsaw. She was born in this county, November 17, 1860. Her parents were Mr. and Mrs. Anders Hoverstad. Her father died some years ago and she is mourned especially by an aged mother, one brother and two sisters. The brother is Prof. T. A. Hoverstad, of the University of North Dakota. One sister, is Mrs. K. B. Norswing of Los Angeles, Cal., and the other, Miss Berit at home. Funeral services were held Tuesday and interment was made in Vang's church cemetery, Rev. A. Hauge officiating.
