  Notes	From his page in Find A Grave, citing the Faribault Daily News, May 10, 1950: Funeral services were conducted Saturday afternoon at Vang Lutheran church for Michael Flom, 68 year old farmer and maintenance worker on the county highway system. Mr. Flom died very suddenly Wednesday, May 3. The Rev. L. A. Wogen, pastor of the Dennison Lutheran parish officiated at the service. Mrs. Wogen sang. Interment was at the Vang cemetery. The pallbearers were: Donald Flom, Minneaplis; Orlean Durdahl, Cannon Falls; Andrew Flom, and Lawrence Flom, Kenyon; Obert Eggum and Clarence Eggum of Dennison. All were nephews of the deceased. Michael Flom was the son of Mr. and Mrs. Nels Flom of Holden township and was born September 2, 1881. He had spent his life in Holden and Warsaw townships. He was married December 15, 1910, to Miss Caroline Eggum of Dennison. He is survived by his wife; one daughter, Mrs. Herman Braaten (Marcia), two grandchildren and one brother, William Flom of Minneapolis. Mr. Flom was a member of the Vang congregation and had a host of friends in the community where he lived.
