  Notes	In the 1865 Norwegian census he is Jens Evenson, a 46 year-old widower and Selveier Fisker living with his daughters on the Martivoldvald Værdalsøren farm in Stiklestad, Verdal. He was a widower living with his daughter Martha and family in the 1900 U.S. census. He came to the U.S. in 1880. In the 1895 state census, he is living with Theo and Martha and family and is shown as a butcher who has lived in the U.S., and in Fergus Falls, for 12 and a half years. Jens is not listed with Theodore’s family in the 1905 state census.
