  Notes	Beulah “Bea” Ann Estrem, age 72, of Pine Island, formerly of Wanamingo, died Thursday, January 29, 2015 at Mayo Clinic Hospital-Rochester- Methodist Campus. Beulah was born July 9, 1942 in Faribault, Minnesota the daughter of Albert and Berniece (Nodland) Glestad. She attended and graduated from Wanamingo High School. She lived on the family farm raising four children. Bea then attended nursing school and worked at the state hospital in Rochester and the Zumbrota Hospital. Bea married Ken Estrem. He died in 1992. She worked at the Cannon Falls Truck Stop for seven years. Bea had a kind heart. She was a foster parent and was involved with the citizens action council. She opened a battered women’s shelter on the farm in their basement providing help and safe place. She also was the coordinator for the WIC program. She is survived by her children, Brenda (and Jerry) Fridholm of Hugo; Carol (and Jed ) Estrem of Elgin; Brian (and Elsa) Estrem of Wanamingo; Mark Estrem of Zumbrota; a special daughter-in-law, Nancy of Zumbrota; a brother, Edward (and Linnae) Glestad of Wanamingo; 15 grandchildren; 16 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; a nephew, Jason Glestad and a niece, Cindy Morgan. Visitation will be at Michaelson Funeral Home, Kenyon on Tuesday, February 10, 2015 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM and also one hour prior to the service in the church. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, February 11, 2015 at 2:00 PM at Dale Lutheran Church with The Reverend Heather Culuris officiating. Interment will be in the Dale Lutheran Church Cemetery in Kenyon. Memorials are preferred to Dale Lutheran Church.
