Single, employed as a clerk in a grocery store, and living at home with his parents at the time of the 1930 census. In the 1939 Milwaukee city directory, as Walter F, he and his wife Olive live at 3416A North 27th. He is a bookkeeper at Rundle-Spence Manufacturing Co. Olive is a stenographer for National Carloading Corporation. In the 1940 census, Walter and Olive lived at 3630 North 42nd Street in Milwaukee in a rented residence. He had had three years of high school, she was a high school graduate. He was a purchasing agent for a plumbing supply company. She was an assistant cashier for a steam railroad car loading facility. She made more money in 1939 than he did: $1400 to $1238. In the 1947 city directory, he is a purchasing agent for Ben-Hur Mfg. He and Olive live at 3630 N 42nd. In the 1950 census, he and Olive and their two sons live in Milwaukee. He is a salesman of industrial supplies. His obit said that he had been a manufacturers rep in the commercial heating and plumbing industry. The obit says that he had five grandchildren: Lisa, Kristin, Erika, David, and Quin, and one great-grandson, Michael.
