The informant for his death certificate was his son Francis. George died at Dilly Nursing Home in Northfield. The cause of death was heart disease. He is probably the George Tonsager, retired, who is listed in the 1968, 1970, and 1972 Northfield City Directories as living at 800 West 2nd Street. George’s obituary is in the October 5, 1972, edition of the New Prague Times, p. 3, column 1.
