  Notes	Mrs. Emma Alfson, 73, lifelong resident of the county, died this morning at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Harland Peterson, in Valders. Born Emma Berge in Liberty in 1872, she was married to John Alfson, and they located in the town. He died 30 years ago. Survivors are three daughters, Mrs. Peterson and Mrs. Raymond Brennan of Valders, Mrs. Herbert Vogel of Cato; two sons, Herbert of Valders, Bennett of this city; two brothers, Anton of Valders, Andrew of Liberty; sister, Mrs. Molly Finkelson of this city, Mrs. (sic) four grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Thursday at the Berge funeral home, Valders, and at 2 o'clock at the West Valders Lutheran church. Burial will be in the adjoining cemetery.
