At the time of the 1910 census (May 13th), Christ was still single but was listed as the head of household for the farm in Gibson township. The household consisted of Christ, 26, Helge, 70 and a widower, Clara, 18, Eleonora, 14, and Edward, 16. Christ is shown as the owner of the farm which he owns with a mortgage.
Registered for the draft in Two Rivers on September 12, 1918, in Two Rivers, as Christopher Ellingboe. He gave his address as Route 2, Mishicot, where he was a self-employed farmer. He gave his nearest relative as Irma Ellingboe of Route 2, Mishicot. Christ was described as of medium height and build with light blue eyes and light brown hair.
Christ is shown as the owner of the farm in the 1921 plat book.
