  Notes	Called Therese. Her obit: Funeral services are scheduled for Therese “Tee” Mercier Morgan, 93, of Hattiesburg, MS, who passed away on July 31, 2022, at her residence in Hattiesburg. She was preceded in death by her husband, Dr. Jerold Joseph Morgan; one son, Damian Eugene Morgan; son-in-law, Wayne Anderson; her parents, Albert and Ella Mae Mercier; and six siblings. She is survived by five children, Shirley Morgan Glenn (Bob) of Mobile, Al., Jerold Joseph Morgan, Jr. (Connie) of Hattiesburg, Dr. Mary Morgan Anderson of Hattiesburg, Frank Raymond Morgan (Wendy) of Daphne, AL., and John Patrick “Jack” Morgan (Staci) of Honolulu, HI.; 13 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and 2 brothers, Monsignor Joseph Mercier and Damian Mercier, both of Hattiesburg; as well as a host of nieces and nephews. Pallbearers will be Troy Anderson, Geoff Glenn, Andy Anderson, Jerry Anderson, Casey Mercier, and Andy Mercier. Therese was a lifelong resident of Hattiesburg and a graduate of Sacred Heart School. Her passions were faith and family. Before her marriage she attended college at Ursuline Academy in New Orleans, LA. Therese owned and operated Loretta’s Gift Shoppe and Ole Mississippi Antiques. Visitation will be Thursday, August 4, 2022 from 10 – 11 a.m. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church. A Rosary will be held at 11 a.m. and a Mass of Christian Burial will immediately follow. Burial will be in Highland Cemetery.
