  Notes	From the Faribault Daily News, Aug. 15, 1953: Oscar Eggum, 66, retired farmer of this community, died Friday about 3:30 p.m. at his home in Dennison. Mr. Eggum has been suffering with a heart ailment for the past four and a half years but died very suddenly. Mr. Eggum was born March 25, 1887 and had farmed about two miles south of here for 37 years. He recently sold the farm to his son Obert and moved to this village just a few months ago. Surviving beside his wife are four sons, Clarence of Cannon Falls, Phillip of South Dakota, Obert of Dennison and Glenmore of LaCrosse, Wisconsin; and two daughters, Mrs. Thomas (Evelyn) Dvorak of Northfield and Mrs. Johnny (Marian) Flom of Wanamingo Township. Funeral services will be Monday at 1:30 p.m. at the home and at 2 p.m. at the Vang Lutheran Church. Friends may call at the Anderson Funeral Home, Northfield, Sunday afternoon and evening and at the family home Monday morning.
