  Notes	John B Kasa, 82, Boston, MA and Sun City Center, FL, formerly of Van Hook, ND, died Sunday, May 18, 2014, in a Palm Harbor, FL hospice facility.   John Burnett Kasa “Junior” was born March 23, 1932 to John H. and Bertha (Ellingboe) Kasa on the family farm near Van Hook.  He was raised and educated at Van Hook graduating from Van Hook High School.  John enlisted in the United States Navy and proudly served aboard the USS Tarawa CV-40 from 1951-55.  After his honorable discharge from the Navy, he began work at the Federal Reserve Bank of Boston where he burned “worn out” money at night, and attended college by day. John was Chief Engineer at Beacon Management Co. for over 40 years.  He was very dedicated to his career and retired with many honors and memories in the Boston Area.  John was a huge New England Patriots fan, it was a top priority to watch every game. He wanted his grandson to play for this team, and wouldn’t you know, he will be playing against the Patriots this September.  John we know you will be watching with a Manhattan in hand, and a prime rib on your plate!   John is survived by his sister, Marion Evenson of Parshall, ND; sons, David and Neen Kasa of Colorado Springs, Co, Larry and Maureen Kasa of Dunedin, Fl, and Wayne and Cindy Kasa of Olive Branch, MS; wife, Dolores Kasa of Colorado Springs, Co; grandchildren, Hiedi Kasa of Colorado Springs, Co, Sean Kasa of Denver, Co and Nick Kasa of Denver, Co; great-grandchildren: Haily, Darci and Kayla Kasa of Colorado Springs, Co and several nieces and nephews of Parshall, ND; special Friends, Barbara Sellon of Boston, MA, Janie Sellon of Boston, MA, Joe and Alana White of Sun City Center, Fl,  Arthur Varloe of Surrey, ND, Frank Liz Ally and Julia Antonelli of Boston, MA, Linda Lailer of Woburn, MA, and Sandy Ruma of Boston, MA; and the many co-workers from Beacon Management Co of Boston.  He was preceded in death by his parents and brother-in-law Eddy Evenson.  Funeral:  Thursday, May 22, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. in Bethel Lutheran Church, New Town  Visitation:  one hour prior to the service in the Church  Interment:  Van Hook Cemetery, rural New Town
