  Notes	In the 1930 census, she was the widow Ada Cory living with her children and two lodgers in Cudahy, Wisconsin, in a $9000 house that she owned. Not in the 1940 census. From the Milwaukee Journal, May 16, 1947, edition: Mrs. Ada H. Cory Ellingboe, 65, Lake Geneva, Wis., died Friday at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Louise Huebler, 3930 W. Grange av., town of Franklin, following a long illness. Born in the town of Greenfield, Mrs. Ellingboe spent her childhood on her parents’ farm. She was a graduate of South Division high school here. In 1903 she married Jesse F. Cory, superintendent of schools for Milwaukee county. In 1907, Mr. Cory became superintendent of schools in Cudahy where his wife organized the first PTA there. She was a member of the school board for three years and a secretary for two. She was a charter member of the Pythian Sisters’ lodge and a member of the Women’s Benefit association of the Macabees. Mr. Cory died in 1924. After her marriage to Oscar Ellingboe in 1938, Mrs. Ellingboe moved to Lake Geneva, which was her home until she went to live with her daughter. Other survivors are her husband, Oscar; two sons, Niel and Richard Cory; two brothers, Peter and Grover Meyrose and a sister, Mrs. H. O. Horn. Services will be at 2 p.m. Monday at the Nero funeral home, 3701 E. Layton av., Cudahy. Burial will be in Pilgrims’ Rest cemetery. Ada also had a son Donald L, b. 18 Jan 1907.
