(See notes for Ole.) Registered for the draft on September 11, 1918, in Dunn County, North Dakota. The draft card is mostly illegible but it does show his birthdate and his middle name. He claims to be a farmer and his wife is Hannah. He has blue eyes and light hair. Still living in Dunn County, N.D., on a farm he owns, in the 1920 census. He and Hannah now have four children. In the 1930 census, the family is living on a farm in South Avon Precinct, Skagit County, Washington. The family is Thomas, 45, Hannah, 47, Olive, 15, Arvid, 13, Kendall, 9, Tillman, 7, and Winifred, 3. All of the children were born in North Dakota. Thomas and Hannah were married at ages 24 and 26, respectively.
