Funeral services for Sylvia (Sash) Taft-Hendrickson, 70, of St. Cloud and formerly of Onamia, are scheduled today (Thursday, Feb. 5) at the Peterson-Johnson Funeral Home in Milaca with the Rev. Jon Olson officiating. Burial will be in the Foster Cemetery. Sylvia died peacefully at her home on Jan. 30, 2004. She is survived by her husband, Arthur Hendrickson; six daughters, Debbie Gallup of Garrison, Samantha Boldt of Ramsey, Karen Hendrickson of Conway, Ark., Sherry Matthews of Alaska, Laura Carmichael of Alaska, and Accy Hendrickson of Alaska; nine grandchildren and four great-grandchildren; two sisters, Loraine Oberfield of Onamia, and Irene Stebbins of Freeport, Ill.; brother, Levy Taft of Shelby, Mont.; Sylvia’s daughter with Raymond Gallup, Sherry Matthews, died in 2023 in Anchorage.
