In the 1946 Minneapolis city directory, a William L Kornder was a trucker for Minneapolis Milling and lived at 9600 Portland Avenue. In the 1950 Minneapolis city directory, a William L Kornder was a “car cooperer” form Minneapolis Milling. He lived at 9600 Portland Avenue. In the 1950 census, he has a new wife, Nita, and he’s shown as living at 9601 Portland. Living with them were the combined family, Delores Lane, Paul Kornder, Sandra Lane, and Nancy Kornder. William’s occupation was car cooper at a flour mill. In the 1952 Minneapolis city directory, a William L Kornder, wife Nita, lived at 9600 Portland Avenue in Bloomington. Stepson, Otis Lane of St Paul. 18 grandchildren. Sisters, Mrs Johann Haeg, Mrs Maida Markin, Mrs Lily Tracy, Mrs Bertha Lange, Mrs Rose Butler, Miss Pearl Kornder, all of Minneapolis. Funeral: November 26 at St James Lutheran in Savage. Burial in Bloomington.
