He is survived by his loving wife of 62 years, Dorothy (Pool); children, Gerald McLaughlin (Gloria), Patrick Ryan (Doraine), Dorothy Jordan, Roland Ryan (Nancy), Darlene Weinzirl (Mike), Mary Dixon (Robert), James Ryan (Shawn), John R. Ryan, Gerald Ryan and Cheryl Ryan; 25 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren whom he loved dearly; brother, Robert J. Ryan; sisters, Loretta Stanton, Evelyn Seifert and Helen Pomije. He was preceded in death by his parents, James and Nellie Ryan; his 2 sons, Kenneth and Robert Ryan; grandson, Brandon Ryan; granddaughter, Deborah Ann Weinzirl; sister, Betty Boegeman; brother, Roland Ryan. He was a dedicated husband, father and teacher. He was role model to many and will be missed everyday.
