  Notes	Carol B. (Thompson) Hanson, age 79, of Luck, WI, formerly of St. Paul Park, MN, passed away July 23, 2016 from a long battle with Alzheimer's. She is survived by her husband of 60+ years, Howard E. Hanson; children, Michael (Susan) Hanson of Brooklyn Park, MN, Pamela (David) Edwards of Augusta, WI, Karen (Joseph) Roberts of St. Croix Falls, WI, John Hanson of Cottage Grove, MN, Lisa (Thomas) Schaeffer of Apple Valley, MN, James Hanson of Apple Valley, MN and Ben Hanson of Eagan, MN; 11 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-granddaughter; siblings, Ken Thompson, Rueben (Ethel) Thompson, Keith (Lori) Thompson and Violet Bloom; many nieces, nephews and friends. She is preceded in death by siblings, Edmond Thompson, Earl Thompson, Marian Andren, Lyle Thompson, Lois Hanson and Joanne Linder. Carol graduated from St. Croix Falls in 1955. In 1956 she married her sweetheart, Howard from New Market, MN. She was the most amazing and loving wife, mother and friend whom we all cherished. She is described as encouraging, positive and always willing to help anyone in need. A kind-hearted person, who was a Bible student since 1961 and loved to share her faith. Memorial services will be held at The Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, 228 1st Avenue East, Milltown, WI, on Saturday, August 13, 2016 at 2:00 p.m.
