  Notes	Lila Joquette Cavanaugh (Fortier) age 81, after a long courageous battle against many chronic medical conditions, has lost her battle and passed away on February 18, 2020. Lila is survived by children Colleen Peterson (Mike) and her children Ryan and Shaun; Scott Cavanaugh (Traci) and their children Alexander (Hillary), Kaylie and Nicholas; Patrick Cavanaugh (Jane) and their children Kiersten and Katelyn; Brother Ed Fortier (Martha) and their children Zak, Emma (Chris) Karnes. Preceded in death by parents Howard F. and Elizabeth Fortier, sister Carolyn Fortier, brother Fred Fortier and infant granddaughter Brianna Cavanaugh-Stewart. Lila graduated from St. Louis Park High School and St. Cloud State University for both her undergraduate and master’s degree. She taught for many years in a number of elementary schools in the Bloomington School district. She loved dogs, traveling, spending time with her entire family and watching Twins baseball. To celebrate Lila’s life please gather on Thursday February 27th at St. Luke’s Lutheran Church, 1701 W Old Shakopee Rd, Bloomington.
