    Notes
    • His occupation is shown as shoemaker on Elmer’s birth certificate.

He and Randi lived at 2417 8-1/2 Street in south Minneapolis when Mildred was born.

In the 1909 Minneapolis city directory, he is Henry Hanson, machine operator, living at 2417 Butler Place.

In the 1910 census the family was living at 2417 Butler Place in Minneapolis. Henry, 30, and “Randel”, 36, had been married for 4 years and had two children: Elmer, 3, and Mildred, 2. Those were the only two children Randel had had. Randel came to the U.S. in 1898 and Henry in 1902. Henry was a machine tender.

They lived at 4428 44th Avenue S. when Rudy Mabel was born. On her birth certificate, Henry is shown as age 34, Randi as age 40.

Henry was a cutter in a bag factory in the 1920 census. He and his wife and daughter, and his wife’s nephew and nephew’s son, lived at 4428 44th Avenue in south Minneapolis, just a block away from his wife’s niece.

Henry, Rande, and Mildred were still at 4428 44th Avenue in south Minneapolis in the 1930 census. Henry was still a bagmaker. Mildred was a bookkeeper for an oil company.

According to his death certificate, for which his daughter Mildred (Mrs. R. J. Reardon) was the informant, Henry’s usual residence was 5736 Elliott. Henry was a bag cutter for Chase Bag in Minneapolis. He died from a collection of problems: strokes, diabetes, prostate cancer, and bronchopneumonia.

We have to wonder whether this Henry Hanson, husband of Rangdi, is related to the other two Hansons who married Ellingbo girls: Conrad (#6238) and Henry A (#8735).
