A January 2, 1946, George Grim column in the StarTribune mentions Bernice as working for a telephone wakeup service.

In the 1948 Minneapolis city directory, she was an operator for the Telephone Answering Exchange. She lived at 1604 5th Avenue S.

She may have married Cecil Streetman who died at age 52 in March of 1963.

The death certificate for John W (1678) shows him to be a widower. He died of burns and suffocation due to a fire in his dwelling. His father was John A Stapleton and his mother was Lily Mae Bisaw. John W was a custodian for the VFW club. He lived at 12 4th Street in Cloquet. He was a WWII veteran. He was buried at Calvary Cemetery in Cloquet. It’s possible that John W and John A were living together and died in the same dwelling fire.

According to his draft registration, he was Joyce Francis Dady, b. 21 Aug 1900. He lived in Wabasha, Minnesota, and was employed as a surveyor for a railroad (C M & St. P). His nearest relative was Miss Fannie Dady of Wabasha.

In the 1940 census, Joyce F Dady was living with his mother, Fannie, in Wabasha. He was a 39 year-old divorced man. His occupation was salesman although he was only marginally employed at the time of the census (he made only $160 in 1939).
