In the 1930 census, George was divorced and living in Los Angeles. He was a manager for a garage. He was a veteran of the World War.

He registered for the draft in Minneapolis on June 5, 1917. He was 25 and is shown as born on 11 April 1892. He was a single man and gave his mother as someone dependent upon him. He was a painter and lived at 1017 5th Street S in Minneapolis. He was of medium height and build with blue eyes and dark hair.

In the 1920 census, he was a lodger at an apartment house or boarding house at 328 South 10th Street in Minneapolis, the same address as his uncle, Bernard R Christy (#14595). Fred was an asbestos worker.

In the 1940 census, he was Fred Pulford, 45, “nephew”, living with his aunt Anna Warren in Minneapolis. He was single and was usually employed as a painter (or pointer) of brick and stone for a brick and stone construction company although he was out of work at the time of the census.

In the 1930 census, a 31 year-old Emma Pulford, whose parents were born in Ireland, lived in south Minneapolis. She was a floor lady for a department store.

In the obit for her brother Bertram, she was Mrs. Arthur Johnson of Minneapolis.

Hub, Eva (shown as Eva V.), and Darlene (Darlean?) were living at 4039 Emerson at the time of the 1930 census in a $3500 house that they owned.

Mother’s maiden name shown as “unknown”. It was shown as “Olson” on Mel’s death certificate.

“Mr. and Mrs. Herbert Munn” signed Bess’s guest book from her funeral. They were living at 4605 Oakland Avenue at the time of Bess’s death.

Her obituary shows her address as 2407 Fremont Avenue N. She was 71 and was survived by her daughter, 5 grandchildren, one great-grandchild, and a sister, Mrs. Mae West of San Diego.

She was the informant for Ida Deiters’s death certificate. At that time, Eva lived at 4615 Oakland in Minneapolis.

Although she is shown as 40 years old, she is probably the Martha Deiters living with A. H. Deiters in the 1915 North Dakota state census.

In the 1935 Minneapolis city directory, a Martha Deiters lived at 3545 Colfax Ave S.

In the 1940 census, she lived with the Hurleys in St. Paul. She had been educated through the 8th grade.

A Martha M. Deiters died in Ramsey County on February 4, 1954.

In the 1930 census she is the widow Judith L. Moe living with her mother and daughter at 323 Washington Avenue in Fergus Falls.

In the 1941/42 Fergus Falls city directory, as the widow of Elias, she is Judith L. living at 116 Bancroft Avenue East.

She was the informant for Elias’s death certificate.

According to her obit, she was a cashier at the J. C. Penney store for many years.

Referred to as Judith L in her daughter’s obit.
