Some records say 29 Mar but that’s a Monday and inconsistent with the obit which says that her funeral was on a Tuesday. The ELCA records correctly say March 30th.

Some sources call her Anna Sheldon Beisenstein. There were Beisensteins in Neenah. Callie Beisenstein was a friend of Lizzie Myhre. The Beisensteins were Hungarian.

In the birth record for her son John Oliver, she is called “Anne, fodt Ericksen.” The 1870 census says she was born in Norway. Her Find A Grave entry says she was born in Wisconsin and calls her Anna Hansen Myhre. Her gravestone simply says Mother Anna Myhre 1846-1874.

In the church record for her daughter Elise’s marriage, she is called Anne Hansen.

Her death record in the ELCA records simply refers to her as “Madm Anne Myhre.”

Some sources incorrectly say 18 Feb in Duluth. This date and location are from the ELCA records and from Wisconsin County Marriages, the latter as Andrew Everson and Anna M. Bye. Ever Everson and Ed Gustad were witnesses. Andrew correctly recalled to the WPA interviewer in 1936 that he and Annie were married in March of 1892. The church records also indicate Zion Lutheran.
