20310 The bygdebok, p. 840, calls him Andris Olsson S. Kvam (1791-1838).

He is probably a son of Ola Kristofferson Lerohl (1737-1793) and Berit Torsteinsdatter Skjel Leirol (1755-1835), a union mentioned on p. 885 of the bygdebok. That “probably” is what is assumed here. In the 1801 census, Berit is living on Qvam with her 2nd husband, Jon Ovesson Kvam. Included in their household is a nine year-old Andris Olsen listed as her son.

Jim’s VS agrees with Andris being a son of Ola and Berit. In Jim’s VS, Andris is Andris Olsen Leirol, #I57.

Translation: He is often called Andris Olsen Kvam because he grew up there with his mother and stepfather. He became a farmer at Dalåker when he married the widow there in 1821. Andris gave house #1 to stepson Nils Kristoffersen in 1832 and moved to house #2.

He was called Anders Olsen something at the time of his marriage to Ingeborg. The surname in the marriage record is unclear but it’s not (yet) Dallager.
KVAM, Andris Olsen (I22548)
