In the 1917 St. Paul directory, Carrie lived at 238½ West 4th and was still a waitress. Grace lived at 544 Wabasha, no occupation.

In the 1918 and 1919 St. Paul directories, Grace was the only Ekum in St. Paul.

She also had a cousin Carrie (see #13622) who married Oliver C Lee in Nicollet County on 21 Jun 1916.
