She work as a cosmetologist and was an owner /operator of a beauty salon. Gladys was united in marriage to Omar W. Lien on June 2, 1983 in Scandia. She enjoyed sewing, knitting, fishing, hunting, and was a member of the American Legion Lee Post #86 Auxiliary in Aitkin. Gladys is survived by her son Gary R. Sorensen of Aitkin Two daughters and sons-in-law: Sandra (Robert) DeLoach of Aitkin Linda (Peter) Cordes of Aitkin 1 brother and sister-in-law: Leonard (Sharon) Duffy of Stevensville, MT. One sister and brother-in-law: Anna (Jean) McGraw of Bloomington 8 grandchildren, sixteen great-grandchildren, and 3 great-great grandchildren Many other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband Omar W. Lien in 1997 10 siblings: George, Frank, Ray, Robert, Harry, Jim, Dorothy, Ethel, Ida, and June Parents: Harry and Ida (Janisch) Duffy.
