Mrs. Karen Susanna Lykken, 86, died Tuesday noon at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Alfred Lundberg. Funeral services are set for 1:15 p.m. Friday in Anderson mortuary and at 2 p.m. in the Vang Lutheran church with Rev. B. J. Blikstad officiating. Interment will be in Vang cemetery. Pallbearers are Carl Underdahl, T. Gerhard Haugen, Arthur Hegland, Franklin Thoreson, Ingram Gaasedalen and Ori Ims. Karen Talla was born in Wanamingo township on Sept. 17, 1869, her parents being John Nelson Talla and Ollegaard Heltne Talla. She went to public school and attended St. Olaf college for a short time. Mrs. Lykken was a member of Vang Lutheran church. Two daughters survive, Mrs. Mildred Lewis, Dennison and Mrs. Alfred Lundberg of Northfield, with whom she had lived the past 11 years. Two grandchildren also survive.
