Spatt, Harold S. Harold S. Spatt, 82 years old, of West Bend, formerly of Menomonee Falls, passed away on Tuesday, June 13, 2017 at Cedar Community in West Bend. A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, June 20, 2017 at 11 a.m. at the Koepsell Funeral Home in Mayville. A visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 20 from 10 a.m. until the time of the service at 11 a.m. Harold was born on November 18, 1934 to Sigmund and Ruth (Schaub) Spatt. Harold is survived by his children- Steve of Menomonee Falls, Sue (Chuck) of Brownsville, and Shelley (Jerry) of Mayville. His grandchildren- Erin and Jacob. Further survived by other relatives and friends. Harold is preceded in death by his parents, wife Jean, brother Roger Spatt, and sisters Linda DeShong, Marilyn Arle, and Eileen Miller.

Marilyn Spear, age 65 of Portland, passed away peacefully at 6:04 p.m. June 4, 2016, following a valiant two-year battle with cancer.

Born Marilyn Sally Carter on May 22, 1951, to Russell E. and Margaret Carter, Marilyn married Tony Spear on October 4, 1975. She attended Holy Family grade school, West Linn High School and graduated from Oregon State University in 1973. Marilyn volunteered with the March of Dimes for over 40 years, earning the Energizer Bunny award as their longest continuous volunteer. She served as Girl Scout troop leader, cheerleading advisor and second mom to many.

Marilyn is survived by her parents, Russell and Margaret Carter; husband, Tony; daughters, Emily (Aaron) and Kelsey (Tyler); grandchildren, Carter, Colby, Jackson and Brooklyn; brother, Ron (Pam); and sister, Wanda (George). A celebration of Marilyn’s life will be held Thursday, July 7, 2016. Marilyn was truly an angel here on Earth, her spirit shining brightly on all who knew her. Shine on, Marilyn

In the 1900 census, she had had 7 children, all still alive.

In the 1920 census, she was the head-of-household at 1523 Farnam Street in La Crosse. Still at home with her were Emily, Helen, Helma. and Herbert. The only person with a job was Emily, a stenographer at a rubber factory.

Her obit had her survived by five daughters and two sons and 20 grandchildren. She was also survived by two sisters, Hannah and Ellen, and a brother Erling, all back in Norway.

Clinton William Fish Clinton William Fish, age 84 of Viroqua, died Wednesday, February 28, 2007, at Gundersen Lutheran Medical Center in La Crosse. He was born in Viroqua on November 2, 1922 to Harvey and Erma (Osborne) Fish. Clinton lived in the city of Viroqua and rural Viroqua for many years. He was employed as a road construction worker and farmed most of his life. He served in the U. S. Army during World War II and was a member of the American Legion Post #138 in Viroqua. Clinton is survived by two sisters, Agnes (Martin) Morkrid of Viroqua and Rae Hope (William) Paced of Clinton, Wisconsin; one brother, Dale Fish of La Farge. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews and a special friend, Mark Turben. In addition to his parents, Clinton was preceded in death by three sisters, Merle, Fern and Dorothy and one brother, Norman. He was also preceded in death by two brothers-in-law, Guy Primmer and Ernest Ekum and two sisters-in-law, Geneva Fish and Mary Fish. Funeral services were Monday, March 5, 2007, at Vosseteig-Larson Funeral Home in Viroqua. Pastor Ethan Larson officiated with burial in the Viroqua Cemetery. Friends called Monday before the time of the services at the Vosseteig-Larson Funeral Home in Viroqua.
