17875 Probably the 59 year-old Martin Tonsager living in Minneapolis in the 1920 census with his wife Petra, 49, and his children Myrtle, 19, and Leander, 16. Martin was a carpenter and the family lived at 2121 22nd Avenue South. Martin was born in Norway and came to the U.S. in 1869.

A newspaper article in the Star (4 Apr 1927) said that M. G. Tonsager, 2415 E. 22nd St., was robbed of $100 in jewelry and cash by prowlers who entered his home while the family was absent.

17877 Probably the Christen Heiberg, a library archivist, living in Minneapolis, at 1401 2nd Street, in the 1895 census. The family was Christen, 44, Marie, 42, Anna, 18, Andrew, 17, Elsie, 15, Randa, 13, Nels, 10, and Magdalene, 8. The youngest two childen had been born in Minnesota.

Probably the Kristen Heiberg, a librarian, living in Minneapolis in the 1900 census. This Kristen was born in Norway in Sept of 1851 and came the U. S. in 1883 with his wife Marie and their three children Elsie , Randie, and Andrew. In 1884 they had their fourth child Nels.

In the 1905 state census he and Marie and Randie and Nils were living at 1401 E. 24th Street in Minneapolis. He was still working as a librarian.

He was Kristen F., a widower living with his daughter Randi and her family in Minneapolis in the 1930 census.

He died as Kristen and was buried as Kristen. The informant for his death certificate was Mrs. Charles E. Bolstad, his daughter with whom he was living, of 3340 10th Avenue in Minneapolis. He died of a coronary occlusion. He had been in the city for 53 years and 34 years as a librarian for the city library. He was the widower of Marie when he died.
