| 17711 | PINE RIVER -- Gary Skogstad, age 46, of Pine River, and formerly of Eagan, passed away Saturday, Oct. 16, 2004, at St. Joseph's Medical Center in Brainerd. He was born March 30, 1958, in Red Wing to Clifford and Marion (Christensen) Skogstad. Gary worked for the city of Eagan for 18 years before moving to Pine River in 2003. He loved deer hunting, fishing and snowmobiling and was past president of the Emily-Outing Snowbirds Snowmobile Club. He is survived by his wife of 23 years, Teri; sons, Dale and Adam; mother, Marion, of St. Peter; sisters, Carol Bungert (Dave), of Bloomington, Mary Simmonett (Tim), of St. Peter, Barb Albrecht (Jack), of St. Peter, Linda Shinabarger (Randy), of North Branch; brother, Cliff (Kate), of Elk River; many nieces, nephews and friends. He was preceded in death by his father, Clifford. Services will be 11 a.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 20, at Kline Funeral Home, Pine River, with Pastor Fayetta Maki officiating.
