Services will be held at 11:30 a.m. Friday at Sacred Heart Catholic Church for Charlie L. Debrow, 78, of Houston, who died April 14, 2007, at St. Luke's Episcopal Hospital in Houston. Burial will be in Clark Cemetery. Mr. Debrow was a retired independent petroleum geologist after 28 years of service and a U.S. Navy World War II veteran. He was a member of Our Lady of the Gulf Church. He was preceded in death by his son, Albert C. Debrow. Survivors include his wife, Mary C. Mercier Debrow of Diamondhead; three sons, Charles D. Debrow and Joseph C. Debrow, both of Bay St. Louis, and John Michael Debrow of Sugarland, Texas; two daughters, Adrianne M. Debrow of St. Paul, Minn., and Ellen K. Rittmann of Lubbock, Texas; a sister, Jerry Smith of Purvis; a brother, Vollie Debrow Jr. of Purvis; and nine grandchildren. Visitation will begin at 10:30 a.m. Friday at the church. Moore Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
