That bookkeeper Ida also shows up in the 1909 Sioux City directory as a bookkeeper for the Iowa Cement Brick Co., boarding at 413 12th.

In the 1915 Sioux City city directory, she is Ida S Ellingbo, bookkeeper for K C Gaynor and boarding at 2722 Jones.

In the 1916 Sioux City directory, she is Ida S Ellingbo, bookkeeper, boarding at 3239 Jackson.

In the 1917 Omaha city directory, she may be the Ida L Ellingbo, bookkeeper for the Carpenter Paper Co. She boards at 2106 Davenport. Nevertheless, the 1917 Sioux City directory includes Ida S Ellingboe, bookkeeper, still at 3239 Jackson.

The 1918 Omaha city directory has Ida Ellingbo, bookkeeper for Jerpe Comn Co., boarding at 316 S 26th.

In the 1920 Omaha city directory, Ida Ellingbo, bookeeper for the Washington Market, rooms at the Castle Hotel.

In her sister Luella’s obit, Ida was described as living in Omaha.

Still single and living at home in the 1920 census.

She died in an auto accident: “… face crushed by railing of bridge while in an automobile.” Her sister, Emma Shortt, was the informant for her death certificate. She had been caring for her invalid mother and was en route to Sioux City to visit her sister.
