In the 1942 Bemidji city directory, she is Eva Peterson, widow of Hugo, living at 602 W 14th.

Eva had four children with Glenn Lindsey in Beltrami County between 1945 and 1951.

Eva A. Lindsay, 84, of Baker Park Apartments in Bemidji died Saturday, Aug. 13, 1994, at North Country Regional Hospital. Funeral services were at Evangelical Covenant Church of Bemidji. Interment is in Greenwood Cemetery.

Mrs. Lindsay was born May 13, 1910, at Little Falls, the daughter of Clark and Minnie Skinner. She spent her early life at Lake of the Woods and Little Falls. She was married to Hugo Alex Peterson in 1928 at Little Falls. He died in September 1938. She then married Glenn a Lindsey in 1944 at Bemidji and he died in February 1985. She was a charter member of Evangelical Covenant Church. She sang in the choir and taught Sunday school. A homemaker, she was also an active member of Adult Day Care Services for the past 12 years.

Survivors include four daughters, Rosetta (Lee) LaDuke of Bemidji, Lorraine (Dennis) Montgomery of Bemidji, Carol (Gary) Tompkins of Bemidji and Beverly (Ralph) Kamrowski of Arizona; four sons, Gordy (Violet) Peterson of Bemidji, Duane Lindsey of Bemidji, Edwin (Darlene) Peterson of Fergus Falls, Minn., and Glenn Jr. (Joy) Lindsey of California; daughter in law, Peggy Lindsey of Bemidji; 29 grandchildren; 38 great-grandchildren; her nephew, Duane (Bucky) Mossberger of Wisconsin, whom she raised; her sister, Etta Skinner of Bemidji; a brother, Wilford Skinner of Oregon; several nieces and nephews; special friend, Ione Johnson.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husbands, a sister, a brother and an infant son.

By the late 1940s through his death, Russell and Emily lived in Havre, Montana. Russell was a VP with the Montana National Bank.

By 1960, Russell was president of the First National Bank in Havre.

She was Mrs. Joe Docken of Webster at the time of her father’s death.

The “Solor’s Lutheran Cemetery” was established in 1881 in Greenvale Twp, Dakota County. It was a 1 acre plot of land in Section 9, the southwest quarter of the northwest quarter. The cemetery was later abandoned and moved to Webster Twp, Rice County, about 6 miles west, to the location of the Solor Lutheran Church of Webster. It is not clear whether or not anyone is still buried at the Greenvale Twp location.

She died of a heart attack at the Minnesota Odd Fellows Home in Northfield. She was the widow of Joseph; they had lived in Webster.

She was Mrs. George Bergstrom of Omaha, Nebraska, at the time of her father’s death.
