In the 1900 census, she was shown as having had 8 children, 7 still alive. In 1910, those numbers were 8 and 8.

Anna Maria enclosed a letter to her Norwegian relatives with her father's 1896 letter.

Arlo was adopted according to the 1930 census.

Her son Arlo or Orlo was the informant for her death certificate. He had no idea who her parents were. Anna Maria died of influenza.

His obit says that he was employed by Megarry Bros. for 21 years and Minn-Kota Construction of Osseo for two years. He joined ABC Realty Co. in 1972.

He was a member of the Sons of Norway and Frank Heinzel American Legion Post of Sauk Rapids.

He was survived by a brother, Arthur, of Lakeville, and a sister, Alice Komorousky, Farmington.

Pallbearers were Leonard Dziuk, Orlan Soberg, Charles Hansen Jr., Al Ellingboe, Charles Tanger Sr., and Sam Mahnken.

Registered for the draft on September 17, 1918, in Ada, Norman County, Minnesota where he was a self-employed dealer in farm produce in Twin Valley. His nearest relative was Mathilde Heiberg of Twin Valley. He was described as of medium height and stout build with blue eyes and dark hair.

A 24 year-old Martin A. Heiberg is living in Yellowstone County, Montana in the 1910 census. He is a salesman for a nursery company. The family includes Matilda, 24, Arthur B., 4, Viola M., 2, and Francis M., a son, 2 months. The two oldest children were born in North Dakota.

In the 1920 census, Martin and his family live in the village of Twin Valley in Norman County, Minnesota. Martin is an implement merchant. All eight children are still at home.

In the 1930 census, Martin is a salesman for a potato warehouse in Valley City, Barnes County, North Dakota. His two oldest children have left home but the other eight children are living with him and Mathilda in Valley City.

To Quebec, via Bergen, aboard the Valkyrien in 1869. She arrived in Quebec in June.
