An Ancestry family tree has his parents as Erich Erichsen Jevnehagen and Mareth Jorgensdatter. That seems consistent with the mostly-illegible churchbook record. His baptismal sponsors included lots of Qviens and a (somebody) Tostensen or Tostensdatter Kjös.

Jim has him as Andris Eirikson Hagen, b. 9 Dec 1831 on Hagen 88/3-9-16 Av Jevne, Ryfoss i Vang i Valdres, parents Erik Eirikson Kjøs and Marit Jørnsdatter Lokreim.

The bygdebok has him as Andris, third son of Eirik Eiriksson (Nedre) Kjøs (1797-1889) and Marit Jørgensdatter Lokreim (1805-1874). The entry says “fekk dotter Marit (1856-) med Anne Torsteinsdotter Kjøseiga. Til Amerika (sjå innerstar).”

The out-migration record in the church book has the following leaving April 10, 1861, for Amerika: Anders Erichsen Jevne, age 30, his wife Marith Jørgensdtr, 35, and their two daughters Mareth, 4½, and Anne, 2. Listed next in the record is Tosten Tostensen Kjøsiet, age 37. (The scribe must have gotten confused when entering the name of Anders’s wife.)

In the 1880 census, he is Andrew Hagan, a farmer in Holden Twp, Goodhue County. Andrew E is 50, his wife Anna T is 55. They have three daughters living with them: Mary A, 24, born in Norway, Anna A, 21, born in Norway, and Gertie, 19, born in Minnesota.

In the 1900 census, he is A E Hagen, a farmer in Holden Twp, Goodhue County. He owns his farm, free of mortgage. He is listed as age 69, born Feb 1831. His wife is Annie T, age 74, born Aug 1826. She has had 7 children, 5 still living. The couple had been married for 45 years. They came to the U.S. in 1861.

In the 1910 census, he is Anders E Hagen, 79, living in Holden Twp, Goodhue County, with his wife Anne, 84. The couple had been married 60 years. Anne had had 7 children, 4 still living. They seem to be living in a separate house on the Ole Neseth farm.

A pleasant party was given last Saturday at the residence of Hans Haraldson in honor of Mrs. Sundroll, mother of Nels Iverson and Mrs. H Haraldson. Mrs. Sundroll, although 85 years of age is hale and hearty, and her friends hope to greet her on many more occasions like this one of Saturday night. The guests presented her with a handsome rocking chair.

An Ancestry tree has him marrying Elizabeth Ann Maxwell. He was b. 4 Oct 1921 and d. 7 Jan 1982 in Marion, Oregon. The Oregon Death Index has him as William Cla Kilde, d. 10 Jan 1982 in Marion County and born 4 October 1921. The U.S. Veterans Gravesites index also has him, as William Clayton Kilde Sr, as born 4 Oct 1921. The U.S. Public Records Index has him as living at 110 S Madison Street in Spokane and being born 4 Oct 1923.

His Army starting service date was 10 Feb 1941 when he still would have been 17. It is likely, then, that he misstated his birth date so that he could enter the Army. He was a Corporal in the U.S. Army in World War II.

An Ancestry tree shows Delia as Delia Landry, daughter of Peter Landry and Mary Jolicoeur. A 14 year-old Delia Landry is the daughter of Napoleon and Mary Landry of Marysville Twp, Wright County, in the 1895 Minnesota state census. In the 1900 census, the family name is called Landron and her father is Peter. Peter is shown as married but there is no wife listed.

Mary Jolicoeur was George’s first wife and Delia Landry was his second wife and his widow.

According to Steven Garlie’s obit, Delia lived in Northfield at that time (1959).
