In the 1910 census, she (indexed as Dalayer) and her children live in Minot, North Dakota. Her marital status is unclear. In the 1915 Iowa census, she is back in St. Ansgar and is divorced.

At the time of the 1920 census, Olive, as Olina Dalager, is still in St. Ansgar and is now a widow. The girls are still unmarried: Blanche is a school teacher, Ruth works in a millinery shop. Roy is not listed with his mother and sisters. The household includes two lodgers, a pair of spinster school teachers.

Olena married Anders Olsen DALÅKER about 1881. Anders (son of Ole Andersen 2 DALÅKER and Ingeborg Amundsdatter BØ) was born on 15 Feb 1854 in Vang i Valdres, Oppland, Norway; died in 1915. [Group Sheet] [Family Chart]
