In the 1920 census, he is single and lives with his parents and siblings in St. Thomas, North Dakota, where his father is a section foreman for the railroad. The family came to the U.S. in 1905.

In the 1925 North Dakota census, he and Leona and Marion and David live in Lawton, North Dakota, next door, apparently, to his wife’s grandparents, William and Chloe Whiteley.

In the 1930 census, Ole and Leona and family live in Lawton, North Dakota, where he is a grain buyer.

In the 1940 census, he and his family lived at 5104 37th Avenue S in a house that he owned worth $4000. This was a different address than the one they lived at in 1935. Ole had had a sixth-grade education, Leona had had two years of high school. Ole was a delivery man for a wholesale bakery.

His wife Leona was the informant for his death certificate. Ole was a houseman for Railway Express. He was a veteran. His residence was 3141 Fairchild Avenue, Wayzata. He died from a heart attack.
