Ellingboe Aug. 28, 1922 - Nov. 27, 2003 GRANITE FALLS -- Elsie Delores Ellingboe, 81, of Granite Falls died Thursday at Granite Falls Manor. The service will be at 3 p.m. Monday at Wang Lutheran Church in rural Maynard with the Rev. Mary Hovland officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the church. Wing-Bain Funeral Home of Granite Falls is in charge of arrangements. She was born Aug. 28, 1922, in Granite Falls to Carl and Tilda (Berg) Lindquist. She attended Hawk Creek Country School and graduated from high school in Granite Falls. On Jan. 30, 1944, she married Walter Ellingboe. For a brief period, she was employed by Honeywell in Minneapolis and later worked at the Granite Falls Municipal Hospital and the Clara City Nursing Home. Survivors include three daughters, Kathleen (and James) Reynolds of Minnetonka, Janette (and Brian) Hansen of Edina, and Barbara (and David) Loe of Coon Rapids; eight grandchildren; one sister, Jane Johnson of West St. Paul; two brothers, Milo (and Norma) Lindquist of Granite Falls and Stanton Lindquist of Jenison, Mich. She was preceded in death by her husband and one brother.
