Hansen, 58, of Sacramento, CA passed away from ALS (Lou Gehrig's Disease) February 26, 2008. He was preceded in death by parents Leonard and Dorothy Hansen. Duane was raised in North St. Paul, graduated in 1967 from North St. Paul High School and was a member of the Polars tennis team that won a state championship in his junior year. He graduated from the University of Minnesota in 1971 and moved to San Francisco, CA in 1973. Survivors include sons Ted (Ashley), Ken (Angela) and granddaughter Isabella all of Sacramento and a sister, Donna (Mike) Peiffer of Eagen, MN. He is also survived by many other friends and relatives in Minnesota and California. A memorial service to celebrate Duane's life and faith was held March 2, 2008 at Cypress Avenue Baptist Church in Carmichael, CA.
