  Notes	John Orlo on his birth certificate (no mother’s name shown). The document in the MHS birth certificate files is a simple card which indicates that he was born in Minneapolis. The card has the handwritten notation, “not a b.c.” which probably means not a birth certificate. Ed referred to him as Arlo. The 1930 census seems to say the same although it may have been “Orlo.” The Minnesota death certificate says Olro. On death certificate, mother’s name is Ellingboe. In the 1940 census, Orlo lived with his parents and was apparently their only support. He was a high school graduate and worked as a mechanic at an automobile repair shop. In the 1950 census, the same circumstances apply. “John O” is 30 and an auto mechanic at a garage. Of Solway at the time of his mother’s death. He was the informant for his mother’s death certificate.
