Nevertheless, it’s obvious, given the names of his children, that this Nils is the son of Nils Gunnarsson Øydgarden. dwfrench1, in his French Family Tree, also assigns this Nils Nilsson, b. 1796, to Nils Gunnarsson. This Nils has his own bygdebok entry as Vang B, p. 200. That entry only says that he came from 87/ Vesle-Jøvne.
