    • Floyd registered for the draft on September 12, 1918. His father was the registrar for the local draft board.

      Floyd lived almost next door to his brother Harry at the time of the 1930 census.

      At the time of the 1930 census in April, Floyd and his family were living at 110 North 2nd Avenue, W., in Omak, Okanogan County, Washington in a house they owned. The house was worth $4000 and the household did not have a radio. The household consisted of Floyd M., 31 (first married at 25 and born in Wisconsin as was his father), his wife, Zella A., 31 (first married at 25 and born in Washington although her father was born in Tennessee and her mother in Oregon), their son Floyd E., 4 and 5 mos., born in Washington, and their daughter Betty Ann, 2 and 3 mos., born in Washington. Floyd is an insurance agent, he is employed, and he is not a veteran.

      In the 1940 census, he and his family live on 2nd Avenue North in Omak in a house that they own, the same house that they all lived in in 1935. Floyd is a salesman for a publishing company and his wife is a printer for a publishing company. Floyd is a high school graduate, Zella has had two years of college.

      In the 1950 census, he and Zella and David live in Omak. He is circulation manager for the “town paper.” Zella runs the printing press for the “town paper.”

      He is not included in the Washington death index and he is not included in the SSDI.

      Floyd served as a police judge and a justice of the peace in Omak. He moved to Issaquah, near Seattle, in 1958. While in Omak, he headed the circulation staff of the weekly Omak Chronicle.

      According to the obit in Spokane newspaper: “Surviving him are his wife, Zella Lee, at the home in Issaquah; two sons, Floyd Jr., San Diego, and David Lee, Spokane; one daughter, Mrs. George Charlton, Ellensburg; seven grandchildren; two brothers, Harry and Ivan Lee, Omak; two sisters, Mrs. William Sprowl, Omak, and Mrs. Cecil Holmes, Oroville.”
